Projects - Change
Over the duration of four weeks a number of bus rides were taken in and around the Manchester area - the people changed, the bus routes changed. Each bus ride was documented from roughly the same vantage point and a series of images was created. The lack of knowledge of where people were heading and the obscurity of their identities because of being photographed anonymously from behind, creates mystery, uncertainty and a lonely disconnection, even though in the company of others.

Red is a self-exploration into the struggle to maintain faith in modern society. Taking inspiration from biblical accounts and the faith inspired story ‘The Pilgrims Progress’ the aims of this project were to come to terms with living a Christian life unashamed whilst still maintaining an individual personality.
